Julie LaGrow has been the Executive Director of Literacy Volunteers of Chautauqua County (LVCC) in Fredonia, NY since 2015. LVCC is the area’s only free resource for adults looking for one-on-one tutoring to learn reading, math, English and a host of other vital life skills. As a former teacher, Julie truly understands the impact literacy and learning have on people’s lives. Like most leaders of non-profits, Julie works tirelessly to manage the entire LVCC operation and secure funding for its programs.
With grants in limbo due to the pandemic and a scarcity of volunteers to help tutor, watch Julie, Deluxe and a host of experts work together to raise awareness and drive funding to ride out the storm.
