Necessity is the mother of invention. No one knows this better than Jessamine Daly-Griffen, owner of Om Nohm Bakery & Café. When two of her three children were diagnosed with Celiac disease, she faced the challenge of having to make gluten-free meals that would nourish and please her entire family – ultimately leading her to open a dedicated gluten-free bakery. While many of Om Nohm’s customers have a necessity for gluten-free choices, Jessamine’s goal is to also attract people without food intolerances—tapping into a larger market and helping bring people together, regardless of their dietary needs.
