For years, Daren and Ryan have utilized Salesforce throughout their system in order to streamline processes and data, which allow them to quickly respond to the needs of their franchisees and customers.
At Golden Krust, which is the world’s largest Caribbean food franchisor, Daren oversees the departments that support the entire franchise system which is comprised of over 120 locations that span across nine states and two countries, with system wide revenue exceeding $100 million.
Daren also serves as a board member to Golden Krust Franchising, Inc, Co-Plan It, Inc., Lowell F. Hawthorne Foundation Inc., Irie Jam Radio Inc. and One Caribbean Inc. He’s also a member of the American Bar Association, International Franchise Association and New York Bar Association. Ryan has over 10 years of experience for the Ritz Carlton in Orlando Florida, US Virgin Islands, Fort Lauderdale Florida, Orlando Marriott World Center and The Ritz Reserve in Dorado Puerto Rico. Ryan joined Golden Krust Caribbean restaurant with over 25 years of experience in hotel and restaurant management and has extensive knowledge of all types of culinary delicacies.
Ryan combines his food expertise with business tactics to market and adapt Golden Krust to meet customer needs for over 100 locations. With continuous education and innovative ideas, Ryan consistently works in research and development for new marketable products for franchise and retail business. He is a Gold Medalist in the “Taste of the Caribbean” competition, a participant in the Food Network Wild Wild West Chocolate challenge, Sobe Food & Wine, and Taste of the Nation No Kid Hungry. Additionally, he is a member of the American Culinary Federation.”
